David R Schlicht

David R Schlicht David R. Schlicht, 66, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, October 13, 2017. David was born in Cobleskill, NY to Rudolf and Muriel (Walsh) Schlicht. He graduated from Mt Pleasant High School where he competed in the sport of wrestling. David loved fishing and was an avid NY Yankee fan. He devoted his time to his only daughter and two granddaughters all of whom he loved very much. David retired from GE where he worked for over 20 years. David is survived by his daughter Amy Schlicht, his granddaughers Nancy and Kennedy Spofford all of Schenectady. He is also survived by his mother Muriel, sister Darlene (Don) Petrask of AL, brothers Robert (Roberta) Schlicht of SC and Jeffrey Schlicht. David was predeceased by his father Rudolf. Per David's request there will be no calling hours or service.
