David "Rozie" Roseboom

Mariaville – David S. “Rozie” Roseboom, 62, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, December 21st, 2019. Born in Schenectady on November 20, 1957 he was the son of David E. Roseboom and Kathleen Roseboom Bellinger. A 1976 graduate of Mohonasen High School his friends knew him as “Rozie”. For many years he was self employed and retired as a project superintendent from Bette & Cring in Latham. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, football, baseball and loved playing his guitars. For several years he was a coach at Rotterdam Little League. Dave’s biggest passion was his wife and son. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Sherie (Needle) Roseboom. His son, David Alfred (Rebecca) Roseboom. Two sisters; Karen (Timothy) Roseboom Alers and Jennifer Roseboom. Two brothers; Bryan Lawrence and Derek (Stephanie) Bellinger. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Calling hours will be Friday December 27th from 12-2pm at DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave., Rotterdam with a celebration of Dave’s life beginning at 2pm.
