Delanson, David John Remling, (60) beloved husband and father died October 11, 2013.He was bornon July 17, 1953 in Tarrytown, New York to the late John and Margaret (Schneider) Remling. He was the husband of over twenty five years of Barbara Jeanne (Norton) and devoted father of Erica Jeanne Remling.David is also survived by three brothers Peter (Joanne) from Yorktown Heights, New York, Michael (Diane) Remling of Clinton Corners, New York, Jeffrey (Dayanira) Remling of Bangor, Pennsylvania and many nieces and nephews. David graduated with a Bachelor of Science in biology from SUNY at Albany.He worked in information technology for New York State for twenty eight years, most recently for the Department of Health, Wadsworth Laboratory.He was very active in the community as a member of the Duanesburg School Board of Education for eight years, past President of the Helderberg Rod and Gun Club, instructor for 4H archery and muzzle loading, and past Board member for Schoharie River Center, a youth environmental and cultural education group.He was President of the Adirondack Aquanautical Society. David will be remembered for his smile, dry wit and his wonderful sense of humor.His thirst for knowledge and his love and loyalty to his family was second to none.He will be greatly missed. Family and friends are invite to call at Guilderland's DeMarco- Stone Funeral Home Inc 5216 Western Turnpike (Route 20) Guilderland NYOn Wednesday October16, 2013 from 6pm to 8 pm. Funeral services will be held Thursday October 17 2013 at 11am . Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions in David's name may be made to the Schoharie River Center, 2025 Burtonsville Road, Esperance, New York, 12066.
