Schenectady- David W. Park, 53, passed away on Monday February 13, 2017 at the loving Joan Nicole Prince Home in Scotia with his family at his side. David was born on November 6, 1963 in Schenectady. He was predeceased by his parents Daniel W. Park Sr and Jeanne M. Powell (Park) Webster, his step mother Gloria Park and his beloved dog Lady. David attended local schools and worked in the commercial cleaning business for many years, before retiring from the waste management business. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and collecting sports memorabilia and antique model cars. He cherished time spent with family and friends. And David was always the ‘Big Brother”. He showed his strength and bravery through his long battle with cancer. David is survived by his step father Donald Webster ,four brothers John Park, Daniel (Tina) Park, Virgil (Dana) Park, Raymond Park, and five sisters Pat Cross ,Barbara (Andy)Santoro, Elizabeth Park, Tracy Park, Stacy (Keith) Peek his uncle Bob Powell and several nieces and nephews and cousins. And longtime family friend Dennis Baldwin. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday February 16, 2017 from 5 pm to 7 pm. Immediately following funeral services will begin at the funeral home at 7 pm. Interment will be private. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude for the compassion and care the staff provided at the Joan Nichole Prince Home and the NY Oncology Hematology Chemo Department at Riverview Road for their care for David.
