David A. "OPA" Keiski, 75 of Schenectady, died suddenly at home on Saturday June 1, 2013. Born in Albany, NY, David was the son of the late Andrew and Helen Walli Keiski. He was employed for 27 years at Campbell Plastics in Rotterdam as a Plant Engineer.He later workedfor the BAKOS Group and was working for the last 10 years as a Plant Utilities Engineer- 1 at the SUNY Albany Campus at the time of his death. David was a member of the US Army National Guard in Niskayuna for many years, the Rotterdam Kiwanis, Cyprus Shriners, Rotterdam Elks, Odd Fellows, Royal Order of Jesters and the Masons Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite St. Georges Lodge #6 and Wadsorth Lodge #417. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting and gardening. In addition to his parents, David was also predeceased by his wife Patricia Hoffman and step daughter, Susie LaMalfa. Surviving him are his wife of 39 years; Ursula Brugger Keiski, three sons; Christopher David Keiski of Schenectady, Craig A. (Carla) Keiski of North Carolina, Clifford B. (Melanie) Keiski of Ohio, his step daughter;Monica (Charles) Adams of Guilderland, two sisters;June (Ken) Weinman of Albany andMarianne (Harry) Grogan of Alpharetta, GA, 11 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 3-6 pm at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave. A Memorial will follow at 6 pm, at the funeral home.
