Daniel J Provost

Daniel J. Provost of Daniels Road, Saratoga Springs, NY, died Tuesday, June 24, 2014. Dan was born in Glens Falls, NY, on October 3, 1990, the son of Ken and Maureen Provost, also of Daniels Road. He was a graduate of Saratoga Springs High School. Dan had been working in the family business, Provost & Sons Painting, for the past several years. In addition to his parents, Dan is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Geraldine Fitzgerald of Cortland, NY, and many aunts, uncles and cousins on both sides of his family. Also missing Dan will be his faithful dog, Beorn. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 3159 Route 9N, in Greenfield Center, NY, on Saturday, June 28, at 10:00 am. A reception will follow the mass at St. Joseph's Church Hall. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Boy Scouts of America Twin Rivers Council, 253 Washington Ave. Ext., Albany, NY, 12205, or to the SPCA of Upstate New York, 588 Queensbury Ave. Queensbury, NY, 12804.
