Daniel S Briggs

Rotterdam- Daniel S. Briggs, 64, died peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loved ones, on Monday, November 3, 2014. Dan was born in Schenectady on March 16, 1950. He attended Mont Pleasant High School. Dan was employed for the last 15 years by Cranesville Block Inc.,Amsterdam. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, NASCAR, playing the numbers and watching SCIFi. Dan was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by: his wife Anna M. Briggs; four children, daughters, Melissa Lieberman (Scott), Danielle Saglimbeni (Eric), Michele Briggs (Jon Antolowitz) and son Daniel Briggs Jr (Jennifer), step daughter Bobbie-Jo Kiefner;several grandchildren, Samantha andAudrianna Saglimbeni, Kaelyn Antolowitz, Breanna Hummel, Brendan Briggs, Kyle and Dakota Kiefner, Taylor Waddell, Aysa Antonelli; great- granddaughter, Nevaeh McGriff; Dan is also survived by several nieces and cousins. All are invited to a celebration of Dan's life to be held at his step daughter Bobbie-Jo's home at 5pm, Friday Nov. 7. Please contact family for directions.
