Cynthia M. Cramer Cynthia (Cindy) Marie Cramer, 74, of Scotia, passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2022,after a long illness. Born in Amsterdam, December 28, 1947 to the late Donald and Gladys Barkley Cramer, she lived in Pattersonville most of her life. Cindy was a 1965 graduate of Schalmont High School and a 1967 graduate of St. Clare’s Hospital School of X-ray Technology. She received accreditation with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in 1967. In 1991 she received their accreditation in mammography & later in bone densitometry as well as certification with ISCD. Cindy worked in several local hospitals and doctors’ offices performing radiography, mammography and DEXA scans. Cindy was the Radiology department supervisor at Nathan Littauer Hospital in Gloversville and later was the Radiology department manager at Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital. After retirement, she served as Site Manager for the West Rotterdam Senior Center in Rotterdam Junction. Cindy was a very active member of St. Margaret of Cortona church in Rotterdam Junction, serving their Parish Council, JEM committee, lector and Lazarus ministry for many years. In later years, she was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel church in Amsterdam. Cindy was an active volunteer at the Mabee Farm Historic site for over 20 years. She was an avid reader and NY Yankee fan. She is survived by her five children; Michael (Marie) Kutny of Rochester, Anna (Larry) Jones, Donald (Brooke) Montgomery, her twin sons Ken (Jen) Montgomery and Kevin (Tanya) Montgomery, thirteen grandchildren; Christian and Gina Montgomery, Patrick and Griffin Kutny, Collin and Kendal Montgomery, Tabatha, Wesley and Aubrey Montgomery, Alec Marvin, Camryn, Caleb & Gavin Brooks, two sisters, Grace Cramer of Niskayuna & Donna Righi of Florida. The family will receive family and friends at the DeMarco –Stone Funeral Home, Inc., 1605 Helderberg Ave., Schenectady, NY on Wednesday, August 24th from 6 -8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Amsterdam on Thursday August 25th,9 am, with the Rev. O. Robert DeMartinis officiating. Cindy will be interred at the Chuctanunda Cemetery, Minaville, NY. Memorial contributions may be made in Cindy’s name to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church or The Mabee Farm Historic Site, 1080 Main St., Rotterdam Junction, NY 12150.
