Cynthia R (Massaroni) Catalano

Rotterdam- Cynthia R. (Massaroni) Catalano, 63, of Rotterdam passed away on February 1, 2018 after a brief illness. Cindy was born in Schenectady and was a graduate of Mont Pleasant High School. She was employed as the Cleaning Supervisor for the County of Schenectady. Cindy’s greatest joy was her family and she took pride in hosting large gatherings on Sunday afternoons and holidays. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Anthony Catalano and her faithful dogs Sam and Bear. Cindy is survived by her cherished sons Adam Catalano (Christina) and Anthony Catalano (Alyssa Jackey), her beloved parents Dante and Gloria Massaroni, her brother Dan Massaroni (Debbie), stepdaughters Nicole Roohan (Kevin) and Gwen Paul (Jeff) and many treasured cousins,nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and extended family. Her family would like to extend their gratitude to staff of St. Peter’s Cardiovascular ICU for the compassionate and amazing care that Cindy received. Family and friends are invited to call at the DeMarco Stone Funeral Home Inc 1605 Helderberg Ave Rotterdam on Monday February 5, 2018 from 5 pm to 7 pm. A graveside funeral service will be held on Tuesday February 6, 2018 at 11 am at St. Cyril Cemetery Duanesburg Road Rotterdam.
