Craig Collins

Craig Collins, 64 of Newport News, VA passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family Friday Feb. 26th 2016 after a brief illness. Formerly of Schenectady, N.Y. Craig was preceded in death by his son Kyle and grandson Devon. He is survived by his loving wife Barbara Collins (Harling), brother Clark Collins (Molly), Niece Kenna son Kevin Collins (Raphael) and step daughters, Christina Welsch, Tiffany Harling and Shawna Harling. Grandchildren, Breanna, KC, Mathew and Grace. Craig was a member of the Autry and Associates Food Service Sales Team for over 10 years where he enjoyed meeting new people every day. Craig was a graduate of Hudson Valley Community College after which he served his country in the Army National Guard. In addition to Golf, Fishing, Baseball and NASCAR he loved spending time at the beach and summer days at Saratoga Race Course. He will forever be loved and remembered for his quick wit, kindness, generosity and wisdom. Craig never met a stranger A celebration of Craig's life will be held at the Demarco-Stone Funeral home, 1605 Helderberg Ave, Rotterdam, NY 12306 on Tuesday March 8th from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A memorial service will begin 9 pm at the funeral home.
