Schenectady – Constance Milliman-Briere was born in Schenectady on July 28, 1948, to Kenneth Milliman and raised by her grandmother, Grace Milliman. Connie passed into God’s arms on August 4th, 2022, after a long battle with COPD. Connie graduated from Mont Pleasant High School in 1966. Connie married the love of her life Robert G. Briere. As a military wife during the Vietnam war, she supported her husband during his dangerous military maneuvers as a pathfinder. Connie was small in stature but big in every other way, a strong mother figure who fiercely protected her four sons, she was strict but supportive. Family first always. Connie went on to become a Senior LPN working at Hallmark Nursing Home and Ellis medicine on A6 for many years. Connie loved her nursing profession and had a life-long friendship with her nursing instructor, Mrs. Bayne. At St. Luke’s Church she volunteered as a Eucharistic minister and a parish nurse for many years. Connie was the kind of person who could always find a solution for your problem if you asked her for help, if she couldn’t solve it, she found someone who could. Connie was predeceased by her husband in 2010, by her father, grandmother, son Robert G Briere Jr. and his wife Kristine, cousins, Dolores Burke, Gustave Luschen, Billy Foster, Evelynn Foster, and Steven Willette.
