Constance E. Capperell

Constance Articolo Schultz Capperell passed away on March 25, 2026 at the age of 104. Connie was the daughter of the late George and Maria Articolo. She graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School and worked at General Electric Co. as a secretary, where she retired after many years of dedicated service.

She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony G. Capperell, after 41 years of marriage. She was later married to James L. Schultz, and after 19 years of loving care, he passed away on December 25, 2006. She is also predeceased by an infant baby boy, 4 brothers, 2 sisters, and a grandson. She is survived by her son, Robert A. and Mary E. (Vrana) Capperell; grandson, Kenneth A. (Laura E. Heim) Capperell, great-grandchildren, Nina, Cecelia, Carson, and Cassidy; stepdaughter, Sherri Schultz (Mike) Danton and stepson, James R. (Patricia) Schultz, and step-grandchildren, Patrick Danton, Julie Danton (Erik) Augspurger, Bridget Schultz, and Christopher Schultz.

A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, from 9-10:30 AM, at DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Avenue, Schenectady, followed by an 11 AM Mass of Christian Burial, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Burial will follow at Saints Cyril & Method Cemetery, 611 Duanesburg, Rt. 7, Rotterdam.
