Clara (D'Amelio) Pieciuk

Rotterdam - Clara Pieciuk, 86, of Rotterdam, passed away Friday April 15, 2016 after a brief illness. Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of Anthony and Amelia Tiere D'Amelio. Clara was a volunteer at Carmen United Methodist Church and enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Her husband, Stanley Pieciuk, passed away in 1987. She is survived by her 2 sons; Stephen Pieciuk and Robert Pieciuk and his wife Mary Ellen. Her granddaughter; Lisa Herrington and her husband Michael and her great grandson, Jordan. She is also survived by her brother, Arthur D'Amelio along with several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents she was predeceased by her sister, Flora Tubelli. Calling hours will be held Sunday from 4-7 pm at DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home 1605 Helderberg Ave., Rotterdam. Funeral services will begin 10 am Monday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Viewland Cemetery.
