Clara A (Zieminski) Pachucki

Clara A. Pachucki, 84, of Schenectady went home to be with her Lord and Savior, while surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday, December 23, 2014. Clara was born in Scranton, PA. the daughter of the late Walter and Celia Dembinski Zieminski. She lived in Schenectady most of her life. Clara and her husband owned and operated Cas's Grocery Store for many years. She was a former member of the Church of St. Adalbert, and was currently a member of St. Gabriel's Church in Rotterdam. Clara was an active member of the Women's Club at St. Gabriel's and also regularly attended activities at several area senior centers. Following her retirement, Clara devoted herself to family and especially to her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Clara was also predeceased by her beloved husband, Casimir B. Pachucki, whom she married on May 30, 1953. She is survived by three children, Michael (Sandra) Pachucki, Ann Marie (John) Gaffney and Joseph (Michelle) Pachucki, eight grandchildren; Michael (Amiee) Pachucki, David (Erin) Pachucki, Daniel Pachucki, Ryan Gaffney, Kristen (Ricky) Vesely, Kevin Gaffney, Aaron Pachucki and Elena Pachucki, three great grandchildren; Mia, Grace and Milana, her sister, Helen O'Neil and sister in law, Sophie Pachucki as well as several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, 11:30 at St. Gabriel's Church, 3040 Hamburg St. in Rotterdam. Burial will follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery.
