Civita M (Rasile) Robinson

Amsterdam - Civita M. Robinson, 78, passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2022. Civita was born in Utica, NY on August 12, 1943. She was the daughter of the late Philip and Rose Rasile. Civita attended local schools in Utica before moving to Schenectady in 1956. She attended Linton High School, now Schenectady High School, from which she graduated in 1961. She attended Mildred Elley Business College in Albany and graduated in 1962. Civita was employed as an executive Secretary in the admissions Department at SUNY Albany. She later worked as a receptionist at SUNY Brockport in the main office. Civita enjoyed the outdoors, children, playing tennis, and was a member of the Schenectady County Women’s Tennis League. Civita is survived by her three children, David (Beth) Robinson of Pittsfield, MA, James Robinson of Troy, NY and Cynthia Robinson of Kingston, NY, her sisters, Kathryn Barreiro of Bedford, TX, Janice (Michael) Thivierge of Myrtle Beach, SC, her brother, Philip (Denise) Rasile of Rotterdam, 7 grandchildren as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Wednesday morning, April 20th from 9:45 – 10:15 am at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave. followed at 11 am by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Paul the ApostleChurch, 2777 Albany St., Schenectady. Burial will be at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Niskayuna.
