Schenectady - Christopher C. Zimmer, 34, of Schenectady, died suddenly on Friday, June 26, 2020 at Ellis Hospital. Born in Schenectady, Christopher attended Schenectady High School. He was employed as a laborer with Railex at the Rotterdam Industrial Park. Christopher was an avid football fan, especially the NY Giants. He is survived by his parents; Charlie and Penny Zimmer of Rotterdam, 2 sisters; Lisa and Casey Zimmer of Schenectady, his three children; Hailey, Hannah and Damien Zimmer of Schenectady, his girlfriend; Anna Jones and her two children, Victoria and Isabella of Schenectady. he is also survived by 7 nieces and nephews; Alyssa and Sarabelle Marx, Troy and Cailynn Zimmer, Dezyrae, Vincenzo and Jacob Dilanne, along with many aunts, uncles and cousins. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 5 -7 pm at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave., Rotterdam.
