Christina (Tabiere) Dagostino

Schenectady - Christina Dagostino, 95, passed away on Wednesday, April3, 2013 at the Dutch Manor Nursing Home. Born in Schenectady on February 20, 1918, Christina was the daughter of Luigi and Giuseppina Tabiere. She graduated from Draper High School and was a communicant of St. Luke's Church in Schenectady. Her husband, Lawrence Dagostino, died in 2000. Christina is survived by her three children; Lorraine Dagostino of Nashua, NH, Marilyn Dagostino of Schenectady and Lawrence (Linda Erichson) Dagostino of Guilderland,her grandson; James Dagostino of Schenectady and brother-in-law; Kenneth (Marie) Dagostino. Christina is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her siblings, Louise George, Michael Galvano and Mary Hays. A calling hour will be held on Monday from 8:15- 9:15 a.m. at DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home 1605 Helderberg Ave., Rotterdam followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Luke's Church 1241 State St., Schenectady. Burial will follow at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna. Memorial contributions may be made in Christina's memory to St. Luke's Church or the charity of your choice.
