Charles Edward Wilson, 72, of Guilderland, New York passed away on March 19, 2019. He will be inexpressibly missed by his devoted wife, Paula Wilson; his daughters Monica Roach, Maya Wilson and Whitney Wilson; his sister Ruth Toles; His'‹ brother Joseph Wilson; his Grandchildren Avery Roach, Peyton Roach, Addison Kowall, Phoebe Bissell, Mallory Kowall and'‹ Charlotte Bissell; his stepchildren Erin Bruce, Rachel Bruce, Shannon Kowall and Matthew Bruce; his sons in law Michael'‹ Roach, Vlad Kharitonov and Brad Bissell; his niece Regina Wilson-Kibogo, his nephews Malcolm Toles, Eric Newman, Marshall '‹Wilson and Kevin Wilson; the mother of his eldest daughters, Anita Wilson and many dear friends who felt like family to him.'‹ '‹Charles was born in Toledo Ohio to Marion and James Wilson on June 10, 1946. He served in the US Airforce, and attended'‹ the University of Toledo. He was dedicated in his role as a junior achievement volunteer, wherein he inspired and prepared '‹young people to succeed in business and life. He worked for Schindler Haughton elevator company for many years before '‹launching his own company, Upstate Elevator Company. In addition, he was an earnest historian, and pursued his study of '‹American and World history throughout his life, inspiring those around him with the same passion to seek and understand the '‹truth about our collective past.'‹ '‹It would be difficult to imagine a more brilliant and jovial personality than the unique one that Charles possessed and '‹we will forever hold dear in our memories. His cooking, his laughter and singing warmed the hearts of those who were lucky'‹ enough to know him. He was very much a family man, who treasured the time he spent with his family and friends. He inspired'‹ those around him to enjoy life and to celebrate the love and time that we share together. In return, our'‹ love and gratitude for him will be everlasting.'‹ '‹There will be a memorial gathering at De Marco-Stone Funeral Home, 5216 Western Tpk.
