Charles A. Godbout, Sr.

SCHENECTADY - Charles A. Godbout, 64, passed away suddenly at home on Tuesday July 4, 2023.

Born and educated in Schenectady, he was the son of the late Bernadino and Bernice (Hart) Godbout.

Charles worked in the Schenectady area as a plumber for most of his life. He enjoyed fishing and camping with his family.

He was the husband of Christine Motollo Godbout; father of Charles (Antonia Soler) Godbout, Jr. and April (Benjamin) Whitney. Charles is also survived by several brothers, sisters and his granddaughter Elexa Godbout.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Monday, July 17, 2023 at 12 noon in the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home 1605 Helderberg Ave. Rotterdam and may visit with his family prior to the service from 10am to 12 noon.
