Carolyn E (Erno) Demkowski

Carolyn E. Demkowski, 74, of Rotterdam, passed peacefully at home on Saturday, October 20, 2018. Carolyn was born in Cohoes, NY, the daughter of the late France and Rose Erno. She was employed with the NYS Dept. of Transportation for many years and later as a secretary/receptionist in the office of Dr. Stewart Altmayer for 14 years. In addition to her parents, Carolyn was also predeceased by her brother Dennis Erno. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, John W. Demkowski and two sons, Paul (Madeleine) Demkowski and Joseph Demkowski. A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, 10 am at St. Gabriel’s Church, 3040 Hamburg St. Burial will be at St. Adalbert Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Leukemia Foundation at donate3.cancer.org.
