Carolyn A (Gaudio) Belensz

Rotterdam - Carolyn A. Gaudio Belensz, 88, entered into the arms of the Lord on Monday April 14, 2014. Carolyn was born in Schenectady on May 1, 1926 the daughter of the late Angelo Charles and Genevieve Pipito Gaudio. She was educated in local schools. Carolyn was the beloved wife of Frank J. Belensz. He passed away of February 20, 1986. For several years she had been employed in the paint department of the former Carl Co. Carolyn's family lovingly remembers her as a devoted homemaker, wife, aunt and a true friend. She was a loving, caring and giving person, willing to give her time, energy and love to anyone down on their luck and was a true believer in the power of prayer. Carolyn was a communicant of St Luke's Catholic Church Schenectady. She is survived by her brother Sal and his Eileen Gaudio of Rotterdam and many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. Besides her parents and her husband Frank she was predeceased by her brother Anthony Gaudio in 2012 and his wife Natalie (Train) Gaudio in 1998. In keeping with Carolyn's wishes there are no calling hours. Friends and family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated on Wednesday April 16, 2014 at St Luke's Church Schenectady at 10 am.
