Carole A. Urys

SCHENECTADY - Beloved Mother, Grandmother and friend to all Carole Anne Urys went to be with the Lord on September 28, 2023.  Born on October 8, 1937 in Bellevue NY.  Carole graduated from Mount Pleasant High School.  During that time she met the love of her life Joseph Urys whom she one day married.  Carole’s love for Jesus, her family and her many friends were the most important part of her life.  Every time the Church doors were open you could be sure Carole was among those present.  Her unselfish lifestyle made her an inspiration to everyone who knew her.  Among her various careers over the years she was most fulfilled by her role as a teachers aid to Special Needs Children. Carole enjoyed many activities but her greatest memories were made with her children, grandchildren and family.  Carole’s legacy will live on through her son Richard Urys, daughter Sheri LePore, granddaughters Jessica Warchol, Jaclyn Urys, Amanda LePore and her grandsons, Jared Urys, Jacob Urys, Nicholas LePore and Joshua LePore.  Although she will be missed we are comforted knowing her memories will live with us for eternity.

Her funeral service will be held at 11 am Wednesday, October 4th at the Abounding Grace Christian Church 3060 Hamburg St. Schenectady. Relatives and friends are invited and may also visit her family prior to her service at the church from 10-11am. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers those who wish may send memorial contributions to the Abounding Grace Christian Church 3060 Hamburg St. Schenectady, NY 12303.
