Carmela M (Vitale) Aranzullo

Washingtonville, NY - Carmela M. Aranzullo passed peacefully on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at Capstone Center in Amsterdam, she was 94. Carmela was born in Newark, New Jersey, the daughter of the late Pasquale and Carmela Giordano Vitale. She worked in housekeeping at Cornwall Hospital for 20 years, but most of her working life was spent as a mother and homemaker. Carmela enjoyed spending time relaxing and watching Judge Judy and Jerry Springer. In addition to her parents, Carmela was also predeceased by her first husband Edward Currado and her second husband, John Aranzullo. Left to cherish her memory are her children; Diana (Steven Halsdorf) Fasano of Glenville, Edward (Patricia) Currado Jr. of Saratoga, Mary Griffin of Newburgh, NY., Janine (Scott) Reuter of Schuylerville, NY., and John Aranzullo Jr., of Newburgh, NY., nine grandchildren; Michael Fasano, Kiera (Kenneth) Lyon, E. Aaron (Melissa) Currado, Tessa (Rodney) Tanner, Tyler (Chad) Bookman, Cheyenne Reuter, Madison Reuter, Sydney Reuter and Sabian Aranzullo and four great grandchildren; Korilynn Farris, Brooke Lyon, Ethan Monroe, Liliana Currado and Ashton Bookman. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2 – 4 pm at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave. Funeral services will begin at 4 pm at the funeral home.
