Rotterdam – Carlo Antonio Viscusi, 89, passed away at home on Sunday February 5, 2017 surrounded by his beloved family. Born on June 13, 1927 in Squille, Caserta, Italy he was the son of Fiorentino and Marianna Rossi Viscusi. Carlo served in the Italian Army before coming to the United States and then went on to work for the General Electric Co. in Schenectady for many years before retiring. He enjoyed spending time at home surrounded by family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Annina Viscusi, who he married on September 12, 1946. Five children; Giuseppe (Laurie) Viscusi, Fiorentino (Antonietta) Viscusi, Vincenzo (Filomena) Viscusi, Marianna (Angelo) Santabarbara and Michele (Raffaela) Viscusi. His sister; Maria Nunzia (Viscusi) Audi. Carlo is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Along with his parents, Carlo was predeceased by his sister, Arcangela (Viscusi) Marotta. The family extends their special thanks to Schenectady Hospice & Peggy for their love and care. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 8-10 am at DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home 1605 Helderberg Ave., Rotterdam, followed by an 11 am Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church.
