Burton A. Robinson

Guilderland - Burton A. Robinson, 92, of Spawn Rd., passed away on Thursday December 4, 2025. Born in Albany, he was the son of Sevil and Hellen Crandall Robinson. Burton graduated from Draper High School in Rotterdam, and on May 5, 1955 married Marion Leininger. He worked for many years for the Telephone Co. (Verizon) before retiring. Burton was a member of the Lynnwood Reformed Church and was a 40 year member of the Fort Hunter Fire Company. He loved to travel, read, and spend time in his garage.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 70 years, Marion Leininger Robinson; his children, Carol (Tom) Tommell, Bruce (Lori) Robinson, and Gail (Dan) Parker; his grandchildren, Amanda Parker (Robert Bruderer), Jason Parker, Rebecca and Taylor Tommell; his step grandchildren, Sarah and Justin Smith; his great-granddaughter, Abigail Parker; and his step great grandchildren, Isabell, Isaiah, Elijah, and Noah Smith.

A memorial service, to which relatives and friends are invited, will be held on Friday December 12th at 12pm at the Lynnwood Reformed Church, Carmen Rd, Guilderland. It is requested there will be no calling hours. Private burial in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Guilderland. Arrangements by DeMarco Stone Funeral Home, Guilderland.
