Bruna Grasso

ROTTERDAM - Bruna Grasso, born in Melizzano, Italy on August 19, 1939, died peacefully in her home after a long battle with cancer, on Thursday October 26, 2023. She was predeceased by her husband Luigino Grasso and her loving daughter Carmelina Colwell. A devoted Catholic and loving mother who was kind and generous. Her love and compassion extended to all who knew her. She loved gardening, cooking and singing. She was an active member of Mt. Carmel Church and a member of the Women’s Society. She will always be remembered for her beautiful smile and warm personality.

She was survived by her loving children Nicola Grasso, Domenick (Deanna) Grasso, Elisabetta (Matthew) Hartz, Rossano Grasso, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brother, sister, nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly. Rest in peace dear mother. You will forever be in our heart, your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday October 31st from 8am to 10am at the DeMarco Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave, Rotterdam. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, 1255 Pleasant St., Schenectady, followed by burial in St.’s Cyril & Method Cemetery.
