Bruce M Sehl

Rotterdam – Bruce M. Sehl, 64, passed away Wednesday May 17, 2017 at Saratoga Hospital. Born on April 26, 1953 in Niskayuna, he was the son of Donald and Ruth Sehl. Bruce was a 1972 graduate of Niskayuna High School and retired from the Golub Corporation after 35 years of service. Bruce hated to sit at home and enjoyed being outside where he liked camping, fishing and hunting. He frequented garage sales and enjoyed baseball games along with the New York Yankees and listening to records. Visiting New York City was a favorite pastime but he will be remembered most for his love of his boys. He is survived by his 2 sons; David Sehl and Donald Sehl. The mother of his children, Joyce (Harry) Scott. Two sisters, Gale Heimlich and Donna Zobie. Nephews, Corey (Terry) Decker and Aaron (Tina) Decker. His niece, Christine Roach and his great niece, Deaja Spencer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Along with his parents Bruce was predeceased by his sister, Dawn Sehl. A memorial service will be held 10 am Saturday May 27th at DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home 1605 Helderberg Ave., Rotterdam. Burial will follow at Evergreen memorial Park, Colonie.
