ROTTERDAM- Bruce Milano of Rotterdam passed away at the age of 95, on Saturday December 20, 2025.
Born Bruno Angelo Milano on July 3, 1930, to Saverio and Antoinetta Milano, Bruce showed a natural musical talent very early in life. He was drafted into military service in 1951 and attended basic training at Fort Dix, NJ. A gifted and versatile musician, Bruce was an accomplished woodwindist and bassist. He returned home where he continued his musical career in a local quartet and was also employed by the New York State Department of Transportation for over 38 years.
On June 5, 1965, Bruce married the love of his life, Shirley jean Aiardo. Together they built a life rooted in family. He was a proud father to three children Paul Milano and his wife Chantale; Michael Milano and his wife Jean Armstrong and Tina Marie Cole and her husband Douglas; seven grandchildren Michelle, Daniel, Gregory, Katie, Jeffrey, Emma and Vincent. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Bruce was predeceased by his parents and his sister, Tina Gabriele. Above all else, Bruce cherished time spent with family. He especially loved family gatherings which were often centered around large meals, loads of table chatter and lots of laughter.
