Beverly Ann (Linton) Gallo

Beverly A. Gallo, 78 of Scotia, passed away on Friday, June 26 2015 at the Baptist Health, Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Scotia. Beverly was born in Schenectady, the daughter of the late Reginald and Dorothy Houck Linton.A homemaker for most of her life, Beverly also worked as a head hostess at Valley Steak House in Colonie. She was a great cook and enjoyed cooking for family and friends. Beverly was predeceased by her husband Albert, who died in 2005, and her daughters; Maria Gallo and Lynn Grant. Survivors include her children; Albert "Al" (Shirley) Gallo of Glenville, Bernardo "BJ" Gallo of Schenectady, and Patty (Charlie) St. Andrews of Schenectady, her step mother; Olyve Linton of Schenectady, one sister; Donna (Fran) Hughes of Scotia as well as 10 grandchildren; Albert Gallo, Anthony Gallo, Quinn Barrett, Kirk St. Andrews, Christopher St. Andrews, Justin Grant, Chad Grant, Kevin Grant, Misty Gallo and Bernardo Gallo Jr,4 great grandchildren; Riley Gallo, Jasmine Henry, Tyler Henry and Christopher Barrett, 2 nephews; Richard Kownack of Scotia and Scott Kownack of Schenectady and 1 niece; Tammy Mazzucco of North Carolina, who called her "Aunt Bee", 4 great nephews and 3 great nieces. A calling hour will be held on Monday from 11am-12 noon at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave. Funeral services will begin at the funeral home at 12 noon. Burial will follow at the services, at St. Anthony's Cemetery in Glenville. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of ones choice
