Betty Jean (Rockwell) Corradi

Rotterdam - Betty Jean Corradi, 80, of Rotterdam passed away on Thursday October 30, 2014 in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 15, 1934 in Fort Edward, NY, a beloved daughter to William and Ione Rockwell. One of six children, Betty was a loving sister to William Rockwell, Audrey LeTarte, Patricia Gifford, Ida Oldorff and Debra Higgins. On June 4, 1955, she married her high school sweetheart, Nino Corradi. Together they had five beautiful children; Cynthia Menagias (Louis Menagias), Nino Corradi (Riessa Corradi), Frank Corradi (Jacquelyn Corradi), Paul Corradi (Tina Corradi) and Patti Sellie (Phil Sellie). She cherished her 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren with all her heart. Calling hours, in which we welcome family and friends to join us, will be held Wednesday, November 5, 2014 from 4-7 p.m. at DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home 1605 Helderberg Ave., Rotterdam. A prayer service will immediately follow at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, all donations are encouraged to be made to Community Hospice of Schenectady 1411 Union St., Schenectady, NY 12308 or St. Anthony's Church, Nott St. at Seward Place, Schenectady, NY 12308. Lastly, a special thanks to the nurses at Ellis ICU and Neuro-ICU who took great care of Betty Jean and to Chaplain Ron McCluskey and Sister Fae of St. Anthony's Church, Fr.
