Rotterdam- Betty Lou Corradi, 70, born June 6, 1943 in Kingston, Pennsylvania, died in her family's home, after a short illness on Friday, December 20, 2013. Betty spent most of her life in Rotterdam. She was employed at the General Electric Co until the birth of her children, when her life revolved around family and home. Betty Lou was predeceased by her husband of 48 years,Luciano P. Corradi Sr.; her father, Ralph McPherson and mother Jean Anthony; sister, Beverly Van Voorhis; brother-in-law, Richard DePiero; best friend,Anna Ruffo. She is survived by a daughter and two sons, Tina (Alfred) Holmberg, Joe (Suzanne) Corradi, Luciano "Pepe" (Christine) Corradi Jr.; 4 grandchildren, Mandy, Tiffany, and Kristina Holmberg and Tyler Corradi; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law,Renzo and Pina Corradi; sister-in-law Angela DePiero; also survived by a niece and nephews and cousins. In addition,Betty Lou is survived by: many close friends, including, Pat Volker, Candy and Robert Gillingham and their children; and Betty Lou's2 dogs.She loved to be involved with family, both blood and adopted. A calling period will be held Friday, December 27, from 10 to 12 noon at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605Helderberg Avenue, Rotterdam. Those in attendance may follow in procession for the burial of Betty Lou's ashes in St. Cyril Cemetery, Rotterdam.
