Altamont – It is with profound sadness that the family of BernieDzingle, announce his sudden passingon September 28th,2020, hewas69. Born in Loup City, NEto the late Aledoris and Gladyce (Wysocki) Dzingle. Bernie wasalsopredeceased by hisbabysister, RosannaMarie Dzingle. Bernie made his way tothe east coastas asales representativeforaconstructionenclosure system. While in the areahemet his future wife, Deborah A. Mitchell, whom he married on May 1st, 1976. Afterstarting a family in 1986, Bernie worked as a stay-at-home dad and areal-estatebroker. Most recently, he worked as an auto transporter for Lia Auto Group, self-proclaimed as Bernie Bahama, because of his Hawaiian shirt collection. Berniewas an avid hunter andanoutdoorsman. He was known for hisgreen thumbs and took great joy in growing, propagating and caring for hismany cactus, succulents and uniqueplants, andsharing them with others. A collector of many things, Bernie enjoyed estate salesand finding useful items he could repurpose and pass onto loved ones. He was creative, artisticand could fix just about anything. Bernie and Deborah enjoyed travelling,visiting and reconnecting with family acrosstheUS and seeing the world. Hehad a lot of love to shareandduring thissocialcurrent environmenthad a difficult time holding back the hug he wanted to give. Left behind to cherish his memory are his wifeof 44 years, Deborah Dzingle, hisfourchildren:Ryan Dzingle ofLas Vegas,NV;Ashley Sweet (Kevin)ofGrafton, NY; Evan Dzingle (Karen)ofNiskayuna, NYand Kendra DzingleofSpringfield, MA. He leaves behind2grandchildren:Jacob Sweet and HarperDzingle, numerousaunts, uncles,nieces and nephewsfromacross the countryand3brothers, Steve, Jerry (Ann) and Daron (Marna) Dzingle. A visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th, from 12-2pm at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 5216 Western Tpk., Guilderland, with a prayer service beginning at 2pm. Masks and social distancing will be required.
