Barry A Colliton

Barry A. Colliton, 62 of Rotterdam, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Ellis Hospital. Barry was born in Schenectady, the son of the late Irving and Pauline Hallenbeck Colliton. He graduated in 1971 from Duanesburg High School and was employed as a machine repairman at General Electric for 25 years.Barry enjoyed spending time peacefully fishing or going to car shows. Barry is survived by his beloved wife of 28 years, Patricia Askew Colliton, his brother; Irving (Janet) Colliton of Rotterdam, his niece and nephew; Andrea (Fred) Perrine and Jason (Geri) Collitonand great nieces and nephews; Hillary Colliton, Katie Colliton, Audra Colliton and Lexie Perrine. Calling hours will be held on Monday, from 11 am to 1 pm at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave. Funeral services will begin at the funeral home at 1 pm. Burial will follow the services at Grove Cemetery in Duanesburg. Memorial donations may be made to the Schenectady Animal Protective Foundation, 53 Maple Ave. Scotia, NY, 12302.
