Barbara L (Mayor) Wolf

Guilderland - Barbara L. Wolf, 79, of Carmen Road Guilderlandpassed away peacefully at St Peters Hospitalon July 16, 2015 surrounded by her beloved family. Barbara was born on June 16 ,1936 in Richmond Hill NY a daughter of the late Robert J and Clara E Nelles Mayor. She resided in the Guilderland Area for over 38 years and was employed by St Peter's Hospital as an Administrative Assistant retiringin 2012. Barbara greatly enjoyed gardening, cooking, crafting and spending time with her family and friends. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a positive outlook enjoying life to the fullest. She is survived by her children Michael Wolf of Rotterdam, Steven Wolf of Schenectady, Elizabeth (Richard) Vadney of Rotterdam , Katherine Ray of Schenectady andKaren ( Edward) Glenning of Guilderland and her sisterFreida (Kurt) Wolf of ChicagoShe is also survived by 11 grandchildren and her dearest friend of over 50 years Ellen Halpin and many nieces and nephews. Barbara was predeceased by her husband Karl in 1996. Family and friends are invited to call on Monday July 20 2015 from 5 pm to 7 pm at the Guilderland DeMarco Stone Funeral Home Inc 5215 Western Turnpike Guilderland .Funeral services will begin at 7 pm. Interment will be private. The family wishes to express a special thank you to Dr. Nora Yip and Dr. Jill Braverman- Panzaand Dr Natalia Vesslova for their care and Compassion during Barbara's illness.
