Barbara Jean Brennan Korfhage

Ballston Spa -Barbara Jean Brennan Korfhage, 55, at rest, August 30, 2014. Barbara was born in Schenectady, the daughter of the late Joseph Michael Brennan and Jean Elizabeth Earle Brennan. She attended Draper High School. Barbara was employed for many years with L & S Journeys and she took great pride in her super ability to drive coach tour buses and only leaving her employment when she took ill. Barbara loved her family and friends. She loved her dogs Buddy, Dakota and Hunter. She always helped others when possible. Barbara was the beloved mother of Kelly Crandall (Randy Morris) of Virginia, Joseph Ryan Korfhage and Patrisha Jean Korfhage;both of Ballston Spa; beloved sister of the late James Brennan and Thomas Brennan; loving grandmother of Chelsea Aunchman and Jordan and Kailey Morris. Barbara is also survived by her sister-in-law, Debbie Brennan of Ballston Spa; several nieces and nephews; her best friend, Lauri Gallagher; her oldest friend, Linda Payette and her close friends and former employers at L & S Journeys, Lee and Steve Fourman. A calling period will be held Thursday, September 11 from 5 to 7pm at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Avenue, Rotterdam with a service to immediately follow at 7pm. Barbara's burial will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Barbara's name may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice 108 Steele Ave., Gloversville, N.Y. 12078
