Barbara A Friedman

Rotterdam - Barbara A. Friedman, 70, of Elizabeth St., passed into the arms of her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday June 18, 2013. Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late Myer and Sophia Lucas Friedman. Barbara worked at St. Clare's Hospital retiring after more than 50 years of service. She will be most remembered by her heart of gold which was witnessed by her family, friends and co-workers. She is survived by her son, Mark (Michelle) Friedman of Rotterdam. Her two grandchildren; Meaghanlee and Noah and her great granddaughter, Sophia. Barbara is also survived by several nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. Along with her parents, Barbara was predeceased by her sister, Nancy. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 5-7 p.m. at DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home 1605 Helderberg Ave., Rotterdam. A celebration of Barbara's life will begin at 7 p.m. led by Pastor Harris McSkimming. Burial will be private.
