Barbara Ann Brenneman

Barbara A. (Brennan) Brenneman, 67 of Schenectady, passed away at home on Wednesday, February 27, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. Barbara was born in Gloversville, NY and was a graduate of Colonie High School. She worked as a Medical Secretary for 25 years at St. Clare's Hospital retiring in 2008. Barbara was predeceased by her father Alvin L. Brenneman and her stepfather, George Green. She is survived by three children; Michael J. LaBadia II, Angela LaBadia and Christopher LaBadia, her mother; Hazel Green, three sisters; Peggy Rotter (Al), Marge Hladik (John) and Virginia Chmielewski (Robert), six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and her longtime partner and caregiver, Donna Van Detta. Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 9-11 am at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave. followed at 11:30 by a Memorial Mass at St. Gabriel's Church, 3040 Hamburg St. in Rotterdam. Barbara's family would like to thank the staff of Community Hospice, and extend special thanks to Donna Van Detta, for her commitment and care for Barbara.
