Audrey Patneaude

Audrey Ann (Fedeli) Patneaude, age 83, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 17, 2025 at Kingsway Arms Nursing Center. Born on August 29, 1941 in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Anne (Billero) Fedeli.

After graduating from Christopher Columbus High School in the Bronx, Audrey attended SUNY Oneonta (founding member of Pi Delta Chi) and SUNY Albany where she earned her bachelors and masters degrees in education respectively. She taught first grade for 34 years in the same classroom at Pine Grove Elementary School in the Schalmont School District.

Audrey was an avid reader and a life-long, die hard New York Yankees fan. She enjoyed spending time with her close “circle” of friends, vacationing at Schroon Lake, cruising the seas and spending time with her extended family on their annual Vermont ski trip, a fifty year tradition. There was nothing she loved more than spending time with her grandkids and attending their many concerts and baseball games.

Audrey is survived by her husband Camille Patneaude; sister Andrea “Panda” Rohloff; brother Alan (Lucie) Fedeli; sons Brian (Melissa) Patneaude and David (Lauren) Patneaude; her beloved grandchildren Kaitlyn, Andrew and Alex and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial calling hours will be on Thursday, July 31 from 10am - 1pm at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave. Rotterdam, NY, followed by a memorial service at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Empire State Youth Orchestra or Scotia-Glenville Little League. Condolences can be posted at demarcostonefuneralhome.com.
