Schenectady, NY. Armand Guy Coreno, age 76, passed away peacefully at home on September 18, 2025.
Born on June 8, 1949, in Troy, New York, Armand was raised in Mechanicville, where he spent his early years building strong roots and lifelong friendships. He went on to work for more than 30 years at General Electric, where he was admired for his dedication, loyalty, and work ethic.
Armand lived life to the fullest. He loved hunting and fishing, riding his Harley Davidson, and singing karaoke — often with a big smile and an even bigger voice.
Nothing mattered more to him than his family. He was a proud and loving father to Lindsay Fletcher and her husband, Michael, and to Jill Keegan and her husband, Joseph. His four grandchildren — MacKenzie and Logan Fletcher, and Hailey and Gabriella Keegan — were the absolute center of his world. Their laughter, accomplishments, and hugs brought him more happiness than anything else.
He is also survived by his brother, John Coreno (Janet), and his sister, Debra Jones (James), along with several nephews, a niece, and a large extended family who will carry his memory forward. He was predeceased by his parents, Armand and Julia (Dorey) Coreno; his brother, William; and his sister, Laura.
His legacy is one of love, laughter, and unwavering support for those he cared about. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday September, 23 2025 from 4-7 pm at the Demarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave, Schenectady with a Funeral Service at 7pm.
