Rotterdam- Arlene Carrozza Eady entered into eternal rest on November 2, 2017 with her loving and devoted children and her family at her side. Arlene was born in April 8, 1934 the loving daughter of the late Anthony and Amelia Carrozza. She was a 1952 graduate of Nott Terrace High where she was chosen best dressed of her class. She was also a great dancer and you would find her on the dance floor whenever she heard music. Arlene was employed for 31 years at the Schenectady County Department of Social Services and retired in 1990 as a supervisor. Arlene worked part time for many years at Krispy Pizza and also did banquet work for many years at Sgarlatta’s Restaurant as a banquet waitress. She had many fond memories from working there and enjoyed meeting many wonderful people. Arlene also helped her daughter Pam, who is a child care provider for many years and was known to the children as “Grandma Arzie”. She loved them dearly as much as they loved her. She always stayed close to her high school friends as they get together for lunch, dinner and special occasions. For many years they got together and had many memories which they all cherished. Arlene had a great sense of humor as she was the life of the party and came up with the some great clichés whenever they were together. She loved them dearly. She leaves behind her loving and devoted children who were the love of her life; Daughter, Pamela Eady and granddaughter, Nicole Arlene Eady, Son Kyle (Michele) Eady and her two granddaughters Ashley Lynn Eady and Sarah (Steve) Velezis of Waterbury CT. and her two great grandchildren Kobi Jagger Frederick and Ruby Moon Velezis. She also leaves behind her best friend and sister Shirley (Charles) Butler and her loving niece Cheryl (Robert Feldman) and two nephews Robert and Justin Feldman of East Greenbush NY and many of her loving and devoted high school friends. Family and friends are invited to call at the St Madeliene Sophie Catholic Church 3500 Carmen Road Schenectady on Tuesday November 7, 2017 from 10 am to 11 ;30 am. Immediately following a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 am at St. Madeleine Sophie Church Rotterdam. Interment will follow at St. Anthony’s Cemetery Glenville Donations may be made to the Alzheimer Association and or Breast Cancer Society. Local arrangements have been entrusted to RJ DeLuccia Funeral Services.
