Arlene D'Arcangelo

Rotterdam - Arlene D'Arcangelo passed away at Eddy Village Green at Beverwyck Sunday evening July 13, 2014 at the age of 88. Arlene was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Rinaldo M. D'Arcangelo. Born July 11, 1926 in Middleburg, NY, Arlene's love of the "country" was lifelong. She and her husband Ronnie both enjoyed relaxing rides through beautiful Schoharie County. She was devoted to her family providing love, care and comfort. She found joy in sharing her life with her daughters and was happiest when making special memories with her granddaughter, "her girl," the light of her life. She was never too busy to prepare a special meal, especially at Christmas or gift little surprises "just because". She always put others before herself and had a generous, selfless spirit. She had a special place in her heart for all animals. While her cats were her passion, she would always feed the birds, squirrels, or any neighborhood animal that wandered her way. She delighted in their beauty and was most deserving of their love and affection. May God Bless her weary soul and heal her tired body. May she be greeted and welcomed by the warm hands and arms of her awaiting loved ones. Donations in memory of Arlene may be made to Whiskers Animal Benevolent League, P.O.
