Anthony R Villano Jr

Schenectady – Anthony Villano Jr. was called home to God on January 2, 2023 with his family by his side. He was born on December 7, 1935 to Anthony and Bertha Villano. He attended Schenectady schools. Anthonyoperated his own business, and later drove for Oneida Motor Freight. He was also a member of Watervliet Fish and Game Club andenjoyed racing cars at Fonda Speedway. Anthony is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Frances (nee Cassels) and his four sons Thomas (Amy Scott), Timothy (Dawn), Robert (Jane) and Ronald. He is also survived by five grandchildren Vincent, Gina, Sean, Courtney and R.J., and four great grandchildren Zoe, Opal, Leo and Lilyanna. Calling hours will be held Saturday, January 7th from 10-12 pm at DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave., Rotterdam. A 12 pm prayer service will immediately follow. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation.
