Schnectady-Anthony "Tony" Casapullo, 86, passed away peacefully in Ellis Hospital on May 21, 2016, after a long illness. He was born in Schenectady, NY on July 13, 1930, son of the late Ralph and Angelina Casapullo.Anthony, after graduating from Mont Pleasant High School, served in the United States Air Force, earned a College Preparitory diploma in Technical Electrics, and was later, employed for many years at General Electric as the Senior Manager of Engineering and Design (Foreign and Domestic). His many passions included woodworking, restoration, photography, gardening, and his family.Anthony was also a member of the Elfun Society and the Suscipiat Canora Society.He is survived by his loving wife of sixty-four years Norma June (Albanese) Casapullo, and their children, daughter Jade McKnight, and their two sons Mark and Anthony Casapullo, along with four adoring grandchildren, Liza Schaffer, Adam Mooney, Lia Mooney, and Shawn McKnight. Anthony also leaves behind two great-grandchildren, Mason and Nicholas Schaffer, and his wonderful sisters, Katherine Massara, Rose Casapullo, Mary Ann Valentino, and his brother Sam Casapullo. Family and friends are invited to call at the DeMarco Stone Funeral Home Inc. 1605 Helderberg Ave. Rotterdam, on Thursday May 26, 2016 from 6pm-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday May 27, 2016 at 9am at St Anthony's Church Schenectady. Interment will followat St. Cyril's Cemetery Rotterdam.
