Ann P (Noyes) Rourke

Rotterdam - Ann P. Rourke, 76, of Rotterdam, died on Friday, February 4, 2022 at Ellis Hospital. Born in New Jersey, Ann was the daughter of the late Herbert and Mary Pidgeon Noyes. She graduated from Mont Pleasant High School in 1964 and was employed as an operator with AT&T in Schenectady and Colonie for over 30 years. Ann was a kind, caring and generous person with a great sense of humor. She preferred to stay in the background, but her presence was one you could never forget. Ann was always able to listen, without passing judgement, and offer her support to those who needed it. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially when a good meal was involved. We were all lucky to have known her. Ann is survived by her husband, Edward Rourke of Galveston, TX., two daughters, Amber (Scott) Smith of Rotterdam and Kelly (David) Salluzzo, also of Rotterdam, her sisters, Mary June Barbro and Margaret (Vincent) Scocca both of Rotterdam, two grandchildren, Frankie Salluzzo and Eli Salluzzo as well as several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Saturday from 3-5 pm at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave.
