On Sunday July 20, 2025, Ann Pangburn, 69, passed away suddenly at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady, NY. Ann was born on September 11, 1955 to the late Edward Clayton and Mary Hughes Pangburn.
Ann is survived by her close friend Rosemarie “Peppy” Pepicelli; her siblings, Christine (Ray) Jankowski, Edward C. (Patricia) Pangburn, Mary Elizabeth (Bobby) Fleury, Richard (Theresa) Pangburn, William (Suzanne) Pangburn, Robert (Kim) Pangburn, and Jane (Andrew) Balko; the light of her life were her beloved 12 nieces and nephews and 16 great-nieces and nephews; and her many cousins.
Ann was a graduate of Mohonasen High School in 1973. She was an avid softball player in her younger years and was involved in the Rotterdam Girls Softball League for many years. For 50 years she hosted the Pangburn Family Christmas Party, which was a joy of her life. She loved her Wizard of Oz collectables. She also found a passion working with groups devoted to animal rescue.
Ann’s wishes were to not have any services following her death, and the family is following her wishes. Arrangements by DeMarco Stone Funeral Home, Rotterdam.
