Guilderland – Ann (Triolo) Morini lived and breathed for her children and grandchildren. Born in Bafia, Sicily to Anthony and Francesca Triolo on April 18, 1925. Her family emigrated to the South end of Albany. Ann loved remembering and sharing her childhood stories and heritage. She was very proud of her accomplishments of the English language and her secretarial skills that led her to various jobs. She met her husband Eddie at the dances at the Hendrick Hudson Hotel in Troy. Those Saturday nights brought many couples together from the guys from Schenectady to the girls from Albany. So many many friendships were made and lasted a lifetime. When she married Eddie in 1948 the Morini family welcomed her with open arms. His heart was full and she would cook for them all. After her girls were bigger she found her new passion working at Denby’s of Stuyvesant Plaza. Her girls married and her grandchildren were born, Chris, Deana and Lee. The family was complete until her great granddaughter Olivia was born. Eddie passed away in 2002 and then it was her daughters’ mission to take care of mommy, until her end. Saying goodbye to Nonnie are her daughters Michelle (Morini) and Larry France, Lisa (Morini) and Gary Lorenz. Grandchildren and great grandchildren Christopher (Krista) Camuglia with Luca, Deana (Ryan) St. Gelais with Olivia and Lee (Diana) Lysogorski with baby Kian. Brother Dominick (Arlene) Triola. Brother-in-law Leo (the late Margaret) Pusatere and Sister-in-law Mary (the late Charles) Triolo. She also leaves behind many wonderful Morini kids and Triolo nieces and nephews. Sadly her great grandson Luca Camuglia and soon to be born great grandson Kian in Ecuador won’t be able to cherish her hugs. Along with her parents, Ann was also predeceased by her brother Joseph Triolo. Many thanks to the loving caregivers who helped us through this – Mae, Julie, Carolyn, Jeannie, Kaitlin, Sherry and Yvonne. Thanks Mommy for everything – Lisa & Michelle. Lastly we must give thanks to all the girls who took care of her so affectionately in the Rosary Unit at Our Lady of Mercy Nursing Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:30 am Monday at St. Madeleine Sophie Church 3500 Carman Rd., Guilderland. A visiting hour will precede the Mass from 10-11 am at the Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s cemetery, Schenectady. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Ann’s memory to the charity of choice.
