Ann Marie Montagino

Rotterdam – Ann Marie Montagino, 81, passed away peacefully on Tuesday November 18, 2025. Born in Scranton, PA she was the daughter of Walter and Sophie Schultz Dombroski. After receiving her college education at Mansfield State, Ann Marie taught 5th grade at the Schoharie Elementary School where she met and taught alongside her lifelong friend Marjorie Cummings. Her absolute joy in life was spending time with her beloved grandchildren. Ann Marie will be missed by many.

Her husband, Charles Montagino, passed away on February 22, 2025.

She is survived by her loving son Charles J. (Ericka) Montagino, her grandchildren Michaela and Joseph Montagino; three brothers, John (Barbara) Dombroski; Gerard Dombroski; Thomas (Deborah) Dombroski and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Ann was predeceased by her brother Walter J. Dombroski

A calling hour will be held on Friday November 21st from 11-12pm at DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home 1605 Helderberg Ave., Rotterdam, followed by a 12 noon prayer service.

Entombment will follow at Sts. Cyril & Method cemetery, Rotterdam.
