Angelo Mastroianni

Glenville - Angelo Mastroianni, 85, formerly of Glenville, passed away Monday July 13, 2015 at The Capital Living Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Schenectady. Born in Fairview, NY, Angelo moved to Schenectady at a young age. Angelo worked in sales and delivery for the Pleasant Valley Meat Packing Co. for over 30 years retiring in 1993. He was a member of the Rotterdam Elks #2157. His wife, Phyllis Ertel Mastroianni, passed away in 1994. He is survived by his son, Paul (Dawn) Mastroianni of Colonie. Two grandsons; Scott Mastroianni of Rotterdam and Craig Mastroianni of Colonie. His brother; Anthony Mastroianni of Rotterdam. Three sisters; Josephine Grippo of Rotterdam, Rose Gerardi of Glenville and Jean Salvador of Rotterdam. Angelo is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents and wife, Angelo was predeceased by his two sons, Stephen and Thomas and his sister, Carmella Amedio. The family would like to extend a special thanks to The Capital Living Nsg. & Rehab Ctr. For their loving care of Angelo. Calling hours will be held Thursday, July 16, 2015 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home 1605 Helderberg Ave., Rotterdam. A 12 noon prayer service will immediately follow.
