Schenectady - Angeline Annette Crevier, formerly of Schenectady, passed away peacefully at her home in Scotia with family surrounding her on Sunday March 23, 2014. Angeline was 87 years old. Angeline was born in Ansonia, Conn., on April 28, 1926 to the late William V. and Josephine Liberatore. Angeline was known to her friends as "Angela" and worked for many years in the labor industry. She enjoyed painting and sewing and went to many craft fairs. She loved to sing and dance and had several years on the Ellis Hospital Follies circuit performing at Proctors Theatre. She married and moved to Vero Beach, FL., with her loving husband, Edward A. Crevier and joined St. Helens choir, they travelled and had an audience with the Pope and sang for him. She is survived by three sisters and one brother, Lorraine (Richard) Andreano, Lucy Liberatore, Franny Liberatore and Alphonso Liberatore. She is also survived by eleven children, Christine K. and Carmen C. Ruggiero, Jo-Ann (Leo) LaBarge, Catherine J. Ruggiero, Sylvester P. (Sheryl) Ruggiero, Jr., Gorman J. (Kerey) Ruggiero, Peter A. Ruggiero, Garrick Ruggiero, Joseph R. (Laurie) Ruggiero, Marcus A. Ruggiero and Christopher L. Ruggiero. Angeline also leaves behind 26 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Angeline was preceded in death by her husband, Edward A. Crevier, from Rotterdam. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 5-8 pm at DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home 1605 Helderberg Ave., Rotterdam. Funeral services will begin 11 am Thursday at the funeral home followed by a 12 noon Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Church. Burial will follow at Holy Cross cemetery, Rotterdam.
