Angela L (Aldi) Michalowski

Angela L. Michalowski, 92, of Niskayuna, passed away on Thursday, June 16 2016 at Ellis Hospital. Born in Amsterdam, NY, Angela was the daughter of the late Biaggio and Maria MetarazzoAldi, and was a graduate of Amsterdam High School. Angela was a Homemaker, and devoted her life to raising and caring for her family. She was also a loyal Yankee fan. In addition to her parents, Angela was also predeceased by her beloved husband, Raymond J. Michalowski, who died in 2007, her brothers; Dominick Aldi, Joseph Aldi and Michael Aldi Sr. and her sister; Mary Aldi. She is survived by her son; Raymond J. (Jill Dubisch) Michalowski Jr of Arizona, her daughter; Mary Ellen (Patrick Hostetter) Rickard, of Ct., grandson; Raymond J. (Handan Hizmetli) Michalowski III, and great grandson; Sean Hizmetli. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave. Funeral services will begin on Wednesday, 8:15 from the funeral home, followed at 9 am by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Luke's Church. Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery in Amsterdam.
